Safety Issues
Young children must be supervised at all times. Besides the pool there are 7 dams on the property which are accessible to children wandering away.
Guests must not enter any animal enclosures or feed the animals at any time.
Guests wishing to undertake walks into the surrounding bush must ensure that they have track maps , suitable shoes and protective clothing and adequate water. Your group coordinator should be informed of your departure and return.
Camp Fire
We have a designated fire pit area available for use. Your group must elect a fire warden to be briefed and to be responsible to build, supervise and extinguish the fire after use (fire hose is available). This person will need to meet with the manager in the afternoon before the scheduled fire to clarify how and when the fire will be lit. In times of high fire danger, there is a complete ban on the lighting of fires. Please note- you must book prior to arrival for bonfire- to ensure area is prepared for you.
Pool
Children are not allowed in the pool area unless under the supervision of a competent adult.
Auditorium
Use of the auditorium is for programmed events only. The audio visual system is to be used only by a competent member of your group who has spoken with the manager.
